Brother International Corporation ("Brother") extends a 30-day Return/Exchange Policy for all products purchased directly from Brother.
Products purchased from Brother-USA may be returned for exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase provided that the product is "Defective Out of the Box" and is returned in the original box with all original packing materials including Universal Product Code (UPC), manuals, and all accessories enclosed in that carton and packing slip properly packed. Brother reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee if any of the original materials are missing.
In addition, items not eligible for return include: opened software, tampered or altered products, or items not meeting any return or exchange requirements set forth in this policy. Defective software may only be exchanged for the same item.
Exchange or Return Process:
To initiate the return or exchange process, you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Any merchandise returned without a corresponding RA Number will not be eligible for exchange or return. To obtain your RA Number, please contact us toll-free at 1-877-552-6255 (Option 2) or send us a note.
Please return the merchandise by some traceable method such as UPS or US Postal Service with a Return Receipt within 30 days from issuance. We recommend tracking your return with your carrier of choice when making your return to ensure we have received your package.
Credits and Refunds:
Please allow up to 30 business days for us to receive your return and process your credit. Once your return is processed, your refund will typically process back to your credit card within 3-5 business days depending on your financial institution. PayPal refunds will typically process within 7 business days but can take up to 30 business days.
This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, process your return and for the time it may take your bank to process our refund request.
NOTE: Brother International Corporation is NOT responsible for lost merchandise. You will be asked to provide Proof of Delivery should the shipment not be received by Brother. Brother International Corporation has the right to change this policy at any time.
